The Office of Innovation & Sustainability (OIS) welcomes Kavita Naidu, a leading international human rights lawyer and feminist climate activist, for a powerful discussion on human rights, climate justice, and solidarity for Hawai‘i and the Pacific. "The Right to a Clean, Healthy & Sustainable Environment For Our Collective Future," highlighting climate challenges facing Hawai‘i and our Pacific Island Nation neighbors. This event is part of the Know Your Rights! Human Rights in Hawai‘i Series, which brings together county leaders and the community to promote social justice, mutual respect, and dignity for all.This series fosters transformative discussions on global, national, and local human rights challenges, empowering Maui Nui to engage in the upcoming United Nations Universal Periodic Review of the U.S. and take action for a more equitable, resilient, and sustainable future.
