Both non-profit and for-profit organizations are eligible to apply for grant funding. Applications related to Sustainability, Natural Resource Management, Climate Action, Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Electrification of Transportation, Green Building, and Resilient Housing are submitted through the Office of Economic Development.
OIS grants support initiatives that promote environmental sustainability and innovation within Maui County. Eligible projects must demonstrate direct environmental benefits and align with the community’s needs and priorities. Key areas of focus include:
